#SpreadArtnotcorona Let's diffuse Art, not Corona! Follow the 4th series of 6 videos dedicated to how artists live during this period, diffused in partnership with I Love Sénégal.
Pape Dudu recounts his daily life in Covid-19 mode from his home in Ouakam (Dakar).
The visual artist's work is hampered by the health situation. It's not easy to get paint, and sales have plummeted for him, as they have for all artists.
Covid-19 is one of his main sources of inspiration.
The visual artist hopes to be able to resume his exhibitions in Senegal and even internationally soon.
He also takes his role as awareness-raiser to heart, sending out a message to his fellow artists and to everyone to respect health recommendations: washing hands, wearing masks, social distancing are all things to be done, and unnecessary travel is to be avoided, as the artist reminds us!
