MINI BIO

Graduated from the Dakar School of Fine Arts in 2012, Khéraba Traoré explores the world of children, in particular street children called "talibés".

He has long worked on violations of children's rights and denounces through his works the exploitation of these children by adults.

Collective exhibitions

  • "Mbeuk-mi, Face à la migration" at the Galerie du Fleuve of the Institut Français in Saint-Louis from January 25 to February 18, 2020

Combining paintings, photographs and videos, the exhibition explored migration as old as the world and necessary for the very stability of humanity.

  • "Sentu, L'espérance" at the Blaise Senghor cultural center as part of the 10th edition of the Salon des Arts visuels du Sénégal from November 5 to 20, 2019

The exhibition brought together the young Senegalese creation from the 14 regions of the country

  • "Street expo" at the Jëndalma Artists Workshop in Dakar on August 31, 2019

As part of the collective "Les Fous de Dakar", the exhibition presented his paintings alongside five visual artists and a photographer

​

  • "Typic Graphic" at Taxi Bamako in the Malian capital from April 5 to 21, 2019

With photographer Baba Diédhiou, Khéraba Traoré presented an exhibition in duo developing their technique combining photography and pastel, charcoal and colored pencils

  • "The daily life of street children ", at the Antenna Gallery in Dakar in February 2018

The exhibition brought together a series of paintings devoted to Talibés, street children, denouncing their exploitation
